2,000 Vaccinated Against Meningitis In Ore. County

A push to protect against bacterial meningitis in Crook County has resulted in more than 2,000 people getting vaccines in the past two weeks.

More cases of meningitis reported in Mendocino County

Mendocino County officials said Monday there have additional reports of bacterial meningitis since a Ukiah toddler was diagnosed last week with the disease.

New School Meningitis Vaccine Law Leads To Shortages

Senate Bill 1107 went into effective January 1, 2012 and requires all new, transfer and returning college students, under the age of 30, to have documentation proving they’ve received the bacterial meningitis vaccination.
